Hibberson Street Gungahlin to reopen to traffic from Monday

The ACT Government wishes to advise that Hibberson Street, Gungahlin will reopen to all traffic from Monday 7 December 2015.

Gungahlin swears the most oaths to prevent men's violence against women

ACT Policing’s Men in Uniform stalls, involving the Australian Defence Force and ACT Emergency Services Agency gathered together on Saturday, 21 November to raise awareness to put a stop to family violence. Through the sales of merchandise we raised more than $34,400 within the four hours across the 11 stalls in Canberra.

Acting Superintendent Jo Cameron of the Community Safety and Family Violence portfolio congratulated the Canberra Centre for raising the most money on the day ($8,662). Gungahlin Marketplace was the runner-up and swore the most oaths at 110.  read more

Men in Uniform stalls help raise awareness to prevent violence against women

Today (Saturday 21 November), ACT Policing members will join members from the Australian Defence Force and ACT Emergency Services Agency to raise awareness in the Canberra community to end men’s violence against women and to raise money in support of White Ribbon Australia.

Hibberson Street to close for Gungahlin underground works

Gungahlin residents will soon have access to more parking following the construction of an underground two level car park with 505 spaces at The Marketplace, Gungahlin (stage 3) development.

"To allow for this construction work to be finalised, Hibberson Street will be closed to all traffic between Gozzard Street and Gungahlin Place West from Tuesday 13 October 2015 until Tuesday 8 December 2015." Director of Roads ACT, Tony Gill said. read more
