Gungahlin Jets 2018 Junior Committee - Call for Nominations

It is that time of the year where the Gungahlin Jets dissolve the 2017 Junior Committee and form the 2018 Junior Committee.

The focus of the Junior Committee is to provide the kids of Gungahlin and surrounds a safe and enjoyable football experience where the players can continue to develop the skills required to succeed in our great sport. In 2018 the Gungahlin Jets Australian Rules Football Club will field teams in AFL Canberra’s Division 1, Division 2 and Under-18 Rising Stars competitions.

Expressions of interest from suitably qualified applicants are being sought now for the positions of Head Coach – Division 1, Reserves Coach – Division 2 and Rising Stars Coach. read more

Gungahlin Jets Players Drafted

Congratulations Jets’ premiership players Rhiannon Metcalfe and Britt Tully who have been drafted in the AFL Women’s National league draft.

Metcalfe who has had a great year dominating the ruck was selected at pick 74 by the Adelaide Crows and will be coached by former Jets Women’s coach Rebecca Goddard. read more
