Tickets for the three-day Gungahlin Movie Marathon running from 17-19 June at Gungahlin College went on sale on Wednesday.

Extra buses to Skyfire and free services home


Canberrans heading to Skyfire this Saturday are urged to avoid parking hassles by catching one of ACTION’s special Skyfire services to and from the event.

ACTION buses, in partnership with Hit 104.7, will provide additional services to take Canberrans to Lake Burley Griffin with free chartered return services to major bus stations afterwards. read more

New Gungahlin Theatre Company bursts into Canberra Awards


Dramatic Productions is Gungahlin's first local theatre company and it's highly acclaimed production of Into the Woods has been nominated for a staggering 11 awards in the Canberra Area Theatre Award for 2015.

The company's director, Richard Block said "We are absolutely thrilled with the recognition from the CAT (Canberra Area Theatre) awards for our first major production. Having the chance to bring big Broadway shows to Gungahlin is a real treat and with the assistance of organisations such as the ANU School of Music and Victorian Opera it means the quality of the shows are top notch." read more

Into Gungahlin to Go Into The Woods


On Friday night we went along to the opening night of Dramatic Productions Stephen Sondheim's classical musical - Into the Woods. The production was held in the Gungahlin College Theatre and as this was opening night this was a black-tie affair. It was great to see many familiar faces dressed up for the event, the first of it's kind held in the theatre. read more
