Brain cancer has a devastating impact on the lives of families, it’s a ‘secret and silent’ killer, that has not received any substantial funding or resources for decades, and this is just truly devastating and unacceptable, we need to work together to change this.

Dainere was so excited as she had loved running and one day had hoped to represent the ACT in Cross Country and Athletics just as I did. Dainere was my number one fan, cheering me on in all my races and giving me the warmest hugs after each race, she told me she was so proud of me. read more

Last month we attended Beyond Bank Christmas in June Gala Dinner hosted by the Dainere's Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund. This dinner was to raise awareness and funds for brain tumour research in honour of Dainere Anthoney whose life was stolen by this horrific disease on 24th June 2013. read more

Bus advertising campaign raising awareness of paediatric brain tumour research and funding


Today locals Stephen, Yvonne, Nalani & Jarrett Anthoney were part of an extraordinary light of human kindness burning ever so brightly, as they humbly and proudly announced the Qcity Transit Dainere's Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund Bus Awareness Raising Campaign.

A campaign sponsored by local bus company Qcity Transit in Queanbeyan has been launched today by Senator for the ACT Zed Seselja to assist in creating vital awareness of Paediatric Brain Tumour Research and Funding across the wider Canberra and Queanbeyan regions. read more
