Lane closures at the Federal Highway interchange


Road works will continue at the Federal Highway and Horse Park Drive/Majura Parkway interchange next week and lane closures will be in place. Motorists should expect some short delays during these works.

Horse Park Drive westbound at the Federal Highway overpass will be reduced to one lane with the northern lane closed daily between 6 am and 4 pm from Tuesday 1 to Thursday 3 November 2016 (inclusive, weather permitting). read more

Hibberson Street repair works this weekend


The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users that overnight road works will be undertaken on a section of Hibberson Street, Gungahlin.

The works are to repair a section of the road surface which has buckled as a result of a combination of recent wet weather and a high volume of traffic. read more

Woman to face court on drug trafficking charges


A 28-year-old woman will face the ACT Magistrates Court this morning (Thursday, 20 October) on drug and traffic charges.

About 9.45pm yesterday (Wednesday, 19 October), police conducted a traffic stop after a vehicle came to their attention in Palmerston. read more

Canberra goes to the polls tomorrow


ACT electors will go to the polls tomorrow to choose who will represent them in the ACT Legislative Assembly for the next four years.
