Last weekend we had the privilege of attending the Dainere's Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund Happily Ever After Gala Dinner at The Abbey at Gold Creek.

This event is the major fundraiser for the Dainere's Rainbow Brain Tumour Research Fund and was made possible due to the extraordinary and charitable major sponsors, Group One, Beyond Bank and Tatts On Tatts Off. Franklin and Harrison bins won't be collected Friday


Franklin and Harrison residents are advised that Friday’s household and recycling services will be disrupted due to planned industrial action by drivers employed by collection contractor SUEZ.

The Transport Workers Union (TWU), representing the drivers, has provided notice that industrial action will take place this Friday 24 June 2016. read more

ACT Policing is urging all Canberra drivers to remove ice from all the glass surfaces of their vehicles as the Nation’s Capital experiences subzero temperatures.

Gungahlin Drive complete giving commuters a quicker journey


The first stage of major works to ease traffic congestion on some of Gungahlin’s major roads is complete with the opening of the Gungahlin Drive upgrade.

Upgrade widening works on a 1.6 kilometre southbound section of Gungahlin Drive have been completed on time and will help Gungahlin commuters particularly in the morning peak period, Minister for Transport and Municipal Services Meegan Fitzharris said. read more
