Witnesses sought after bus driver assaulted


ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after an ACTION bus driver was assaulted in Ngunnawal on Wednesday (11 May 2016).

Around 3pm the driver of a silver Hilux Ute had stopped his vehicle in front of an ACTION bus, which was located at the bus stop on Galmarra Street in Ngunnawal. read more

The ACT Government wishes to advise motorists and other road users of temporary road closures at night on Anthony Rolfe Avenue, Gungahlin from Tuesday 17 May 2016.

Anthony Rolfe Avenue will experience nightly closures from Horse Park Drive to Waghorn Street/Moonlight Avenue between 7 pm to 6 am from Tuesday 17 May 2016 to Friday 20 May 2016. read more

Industrial action update: missed bin collections will be rescheduled


The ACT Government wishes to advise Canberra residents impacted by industrial action on Friday 13 May 2016 that catch up services will be carried out over the weekend and on Monday.

Contractor SUEZ has confirmed that catch up collection services for suburbs impacted by the industrial action on Friday will commence on Saturday 14 May 2016 and continue through to Monday if required,” Michael Trushell, Director for ACT NOWaste, announced today. read more
